My sourcing approach is data-driven. I use SellerAmp SAS and Keepa to verify whether a product is genuinely profitable and has consistent sales potential before submitting it.
With Keepa, I look at the historical Buy Box and price charts, sales-rank history, offer count, and Amazon's selling history. For example, if a product currently has a high ROI but the Keepa chart shows that the current price is unusually high compared with its historical range, I would avoid the lead because the current price may not be sustainable.
I also use manual sourcing, storefront stalking, and reverse storefront stalking to discover potential products and then validate them thoroughly before submission.
