ABOUT THE COMPANY
805 Shutters is a window coverings company (plantation shutters, blinds, shades, installation) serving Ventura County, California. We're building our Instagram and Facebook presence to drive one thing: phone calls and booked consultations.

THE ROLE
You'll own the day-to-day posting and community activity on our Instagram (

) and Facebook business page. All content is created or pre-approved by the owner — your job is to publish it consistently, write sharp captions, and keep us active in the local community.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Publish approved posts via Meta Business Suite (Facebook Page first, then Instagram)
- Post daily Reels: pair our pre-approved video clips with trending audio
- Write short, punchy captions with a clear call to action (call or book a free consultation)
- Add relevant hashtags and Ventura County geo-tags to every post
- Engage daily: reply to comments, like and comment on local accounts, join neighborhood and home-improvement conversations
- Triage DMs: answer basic questions, flag hot leads to the owner immediately
- Follow our approval workflow — nothing goes live without owner sign-off
- Track simple weekly metrics: follower growth, engagement, profile-driven inquiries

REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience managing Instagram and Facebook business accounts (share links to accounts you've run)
- Proficient in Meta Business Suite scheduling and publishing
- Comfortable with Reels: trending audio, basic cuts, captions (CapCut or similar)
- Excellent written English — concise, no fluff
- Reliable, communicative, detail-oriented
- Available during Pacific daytime hours for timely posting and engagement

NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with local/home-service businesses
- Basic Canva skills for simple graphics
