Creator Cartel is a US-based creator management agency. We help social media creators grow on Instagram and TikTok and turn their audience into a real business. Job Overview

You'll edit short-form social media videos (clips, skits and trends) for the creators we manage. Most videos are matched to a reference clip. You'll also write captions, research trends and support our COO day to day. This is a creative production role. It is not a sales role, and you'll never manage creator accounts or talk to creators directly.

What You'll Do

• Edit short-form videos: Turn raw footage into finished 15-60 second clips that match each reference video's cuts, pacing, on-screen text and audio. Volume is about 140 videos a week across 4 creators.
• Deliver on time: Export at 1080p 60fps within 24-48 hours of footage being uploaded.
• Write captions: Write a caption for every video in each creator's own voice, then hand off finished videos and captions organized by creator and posting day.
• Find trends: Each week, find trending sounds, formats and reference videos and add them to a shared list we plan from.
• Track performance: Pull views, follows, and the top 3 and bottom 3 posts from weekly insights screenshots, and flag what's working.
• Support the COO: Help with smaller tasks like calendar scheduling and quick problem-solving.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• 1+ year editing short-form video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts), with a portfolio you can link
• Can recreate a reference video closely: cuts, pacing, text and audio
• Strong written English for captions in different voices
• Available 8-10 hours a day between 11 AM and 10 PM US Central Time (12 AM to 11 AM Philippines time), 5 days a week
• A computer that handles 1080p 60fps exports, stable internet, and backup power or data

Critical attributes:

• Results-driven: fast and consistent, and you hit deadlines without reminders
• System-oriented: organized files, clean handoffs, follows SOPs
• Team-focused: takes feedback well and wants to keep learning

Nice to have: CapCut, Premiere Pro or After Effects; Instagram or TikTok analytics; virtual assistant experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• $800 USD per month, paid weekly ($200 a week) through Wise
• Full-time, fully remote, 5 days a week
• Steady volume of work all year
• Training on our editing SOPs and creator style guides
• Room to grow: we'll train you into a bigger content role as we scale
