is a live, established marketplace connecting employers with Filipino remote professionals. We already have real traffic, real backlinks, public talent profiles, active job listings, blog content, and programmatic SEO landing pages. This isn't a "help us get started" project. We need someone who can look at what's already live, figure out why commercially valuable pages aren't performing the way they should, and fix it.
We're not looking for an entry-level SEO person, a content writer, or someone who will run an Ahrefs or Semrush audit and hand us a PDF of things we already know. We want a senior, hands-on operator who can pull apart our Search Console data and site structure, form a real hypothesis about what's holding a page back, implement or direct the fix, measure the result, and keep iterating.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Diagnosing why specific commercially valuable pages are underperforming, using GSC data and site structure analysis
- Technical SEO: indexing issues, crawl budget, architecture, and the page-speed factors that actually move rankings
- Programmatic SEO: template design and page-level differentiation, avoiding thin or duplicate content at scale
- Fixing keyword cannibalization and clarifying page targeting and search intent across overlapping pages
- Internal linking strategy, not just adding more links but linking that actually shifts rankings
- Competitor analysis that leads to specific actions, not a list of what competitors happen to be doing
- On-page optimization tied to a hypothesis, not a generic checklist
- Identifying real content gaps tied to commercial intent
- Legitimate backlink or link acquisition work where it's actually needed to move a specific page
- Giving our developer precise, correct implementation instructions and verifying the work once it's live
We already have a developer. You don't need to write code, but you need to understand technical SEO well enough to spec exact changes and confirm the implementation actually matches what you asked for.
What we care about:
- Higher rankings for commercially valuable, employer-intent keywords.
- Qualified organic traffic.
- Employer signups.
- Paying customers.
That's what matters. We don't care about DA/DR increases or other vanity metrics unless they show up as actual rankings and traffic.
We read every application in full, so if you're still with us at this point, work the word "Mango" into your application subject line. It's a quick way for us to tell who read the whole post.
This is not a fit if your approach involves:
- Mass-producing AI-written articles
- Publishing thin or low-quality pages to hit a content quota
- Buying cheap backlink packages
- Spammy link-building tactics
- Automated audit reports as a deliverable
- Basic title or meta tweaks presented as a full SEO strategy
- Monthly reports with no meaningful ranking movement behind them
- Guaranteeing #1 rankings
If any of that describes your usual playbook, this role isn't for you, and that's fine. We'd rather you self-select out now than three weeks in.
How this engagement works:
This starts as a freelance engagement, 2-3 months, not an open-ended retainer. During that time we expect you to be actively implementing and managing the work, not advising from the sidelines. If you produce real, measurable results, we're open to continuing long term.
How to apply:
Send us the following: Generic answers like "I will do keyword research, optimize on-page SEO, build backlinks, and monitor rankings" will not be enough. We want specifics.
1. Proof of past results: 2-3 examples of commercially valuable keywords or pages you personally helped move to page 1 of Google. Include the approximate starting position, resulting position, timeframe, and what you personally did to move it.
2. Relevant experience: any work with marketplaces, directories, job boards, programmatic SEO, SaaS, or large sites with many landing pages.
3. How you think: take a look at
and tell us one specific thing you'd investigate first before making any changes. We're not asking for a free audit, we want to see how you approach a problem.
4. Your first 30 days: how would you structure your first month if hired?
5. Evidence: screenshots or other proof of ranking improvements, if you have them.
If this sounds like your kind of work, send your application with the details above.
