Retail Data Specialist – AI & E-commerce Operations

Remote | Long-Term Opportunity

We are building an AI-assisted system that automates product and purchase-order data entry for independent retailers. We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Retail Data Specialist to review exceptions and ensure information entered into retail systems is accurate.

What You'll Do-
Review vendor orders, product information, SKUs, colors, sizes, costs, prices, inventory and purchase orders.

*Identify and correct missing, inconsistent or inaccurate data.
*Review AI-generated work and investigate exceptions.
*Perform manual data entry when automation cannot safely complete a task.
*Document and escalate anything that cannot be confidently resolved.
Accuracy is more important than speed. Never guess. If something doesn't make sense, investigate it and escalate when necessary.

Who We're Looking For-
You should be:

*Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
*Comfortable with spreadsheets and structured data.
*Good at following processes and spotting discrepancies.
*Comfortable learning new software and AI-assisted workflows.
*Able to communicate clearly in English.
Available during agreed U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Experience with retail, e-commerce, POS systems, inventory, purchase orders, product data, or Excel/Google Sheets is preferred.

Programming experience is not required.

The Opportunity
This is intended to become a long-term role. As our automation improves, your work will increasingly focus on quality control, exception handling and retail operations rather than routine data entry.
