Project-Based Assistant – Product Research & E-commerce (Remote)

Im. looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Remote Assistant to help us kickstart a new e-commerce journey. We are in the very early stages (ideation phase) and our immediate priority is finding and validating the right personal care product for the Saudi Arabian market.
This is a flexible, part-time, long-term opportunity for someone looking to grow with a new brand from day one.

🎯 Current Focus & Responsibilities

* Product Research (Primary Task): Brainstorm, research, and identify high-potential, budget-friendly personal care products tailored for Saudi consumers.
* Competitor Analysis: Look at what is currently selling well in the Saudi market and find gaps we can fill.
* Initial Supplier Sourcing: Search for reliable international suppliers (via Alibaba or similar) who offer low Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) to fit a lean startup budget.
* Cost & Data Comparison: Collect quotes, shipping estimates, and product details, and present the best options to the founder.
* Task Organization: Maintain a simple, organized record of all researched products, suppliers, and notes.

Communication & Daily Updates
The founder is busy but will make all final decisions. You will drive the research forward.

* Daily Update: A very brief text or call update summarizing: What you researched today, what you will look into tomorrow, and any product options that need approval.
* Weekly Sync: A short weekly message or call to review the best product findings.

## 🛡️ Requirements

* Experience: Basic experience or strong knowledge in e-commerce, product research, or Amazon FBA / Shopify product hunting.
* Skills: Strong English skills (written), excellent internet research capabilities, and good analytical skills to compare costs.
* Mindset: Proactive and patient. Since we don't have a product yet, you must enjoy the "hunting" and filtering phase.
* Tools: Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets and Alibaba.

* Salary: $100 USD per month (Fixed Monthly Salary).
