Job Title: Podcast Content & Marketing Assistant

Pay Rate: $6–$8 USD per hour (Depending on experience)

Type: Project-based / Part-time with potential to grow into full-time

We are a U.S.-based podcast production company looking to grow our creative team with a highly reliable, skilled, and proactive assistant who can support us with podcast editing, social media marketing, graphic design, and YouTube growth.

This role is structured on a per-project basis, with hours determined by project scope and deliverables. It is perfect for someone who understands the podcasting world, enjoys storytelling through visuals and sound, and is highly organized and communicative. Key Responsibilities

* **Podcast & Video Production**
* Serve as an expert user of Descript to edit and clean audio/video, remove filler words, and polish final tracks
* Assist with uploading and scheduling episodes to podcast hosting platforms
* Add metadata, titles, descriptions, and SEO-optimized keywords
* Draft show notes, create audiograms, and generate accurate timestamps
* Support strategies for growing and monetizing our YouTube channel (including long-form episodes and Shorts)

* **Social Media & Content Marketing**
* Create and schedule engaging social media posts across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
* Repurpose podcast content into reels, quote graphics, and carousels
* Use ManyChat for podcast lead generation, audience nurturing, or DM automation (optional but preferred)
* Proactively contribute creative ideas for new content formats, audience engagement, and marketing campaigns

* **Graphic Design**
* Design social media visuals, podcast cover art, and promotional graphics
* Proficient using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar design tools

* **Project Management & Collaboration**
* Collaborate and communicate regularly through Asana or Slack
* Manage project deadlines independently and provide consistent task updates
* Participate in team check-ins via Zoom, Loom, or Google Meet

What We’re Looking For

* Proven expertise using Descript, Canva, and modern video/audio editing software
* Strategic mindset for YouTube growth, monetization, and content repurposing
* Strong understanding of podcast production and SEO optimization for titles, descriptions, and show notes
* A proactive mindset—someone who brings fresh ideas to the table rather than just waiting for instructions
* Exceptional communication skills, responsiveness, and time management
* Creative eye for branding, social media reels, and visual storytelling

* Experience working with podcasters, coaches, or small business owners
* Strong copywriting or caption-writing skills
* Familiarity with TikTok strategies and YouTube Shorts algorithm

Hours & Compensation

* Starting at $6–$8/hour USD, based on skill level
* Hourly rate applied per project based on estimated hours required for completion, with opportunity to expand work as agency project volume increases
