Part-Time YouTube Video Editor (Remote)

We run several English-language YouTube channels focused on fictional storytelling, and we’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented video editor to join us on a long-term, part-time basis. You’ll be editing regular narration-style story videos across multiple channels. Scripts, background footage and all other required assets will be provided, so your focus is on turning them into engaging, polished videos that keep viewers watching.

This is an ongoing role, not a one-off project. We’re looking for someone who wants steady, consistent work they can fit around other commitments.

Responsibilities

Edit YouTube videos using the scripts, backgrounds and assets provided
Sync visuals, audio, text and captions so the videos flow smoothly
Add transitions, sound effects, music and on-screen text where needed
Keep each channel’s style and branding consistent
Deliver videos on time according to the agreed schedule
Make revisions based on feedback

Requirements

Very strong English reading and comprehension skills. All videos are English storytelling content, so you’ll need to follow scripts closely, catch errors in on-screen text and captions, and understand the tone of each story
Proven experience editing YouTube videos (please share a portfolio or samples)
Must be confident using CapCut. Premiere Pro is also fine if that’s what you prefer to use
Must have your own CapCut and Canva accounts
A strong, reliable internet connection
A computer that can handle video editing smoothly
Ability to commit to 3–4 hours a day, 5 days a week
Good communication and the ability to work independently

Nice to Have

Experience with faceless, storytelling or narration-based channels
Familiarity with subtitles and caption animation
