We’re hiring people to build phone sales teams from scratch. If you want a fixed salary and a ready-made script, this isn’t the role. If you’ve built a phone sales team before and want a steady supply of warm leads, keep reading.

The opportunity

Olavita is a profitable, growing skincare and beauty brand with subscription customers in the US and UK. Every day, people reach our checkout, enter their details, and don’t finish. Right now they only get an email. Nobody calls them.

Those people are your leads. They’ve already decided to buy and were interrupted, so there’s no cold calling. Most are women aged 60 to 80 who grew up ordering by phone and want to talk to a real person.

What you’ll do

Your team calls people who stopped at checkout. You find out why, help them, and close the sale. In order of priority:

Recover the cart. This is the baseline and the first thing we measure.
Sell a bigger order. Use our large catalog where it genuinely suits the customer.
Turn one-time purchases into subscriptions. Most customers already subscribe, so this is a smaller piece, but it’s valuable.

You’ll own the scripts, the training, and the hiring.

How it works

Phase 1: You on the phone. You make the calls yourself, with no team yet. This is how you learn what works with our customers and write a script that fits them. We’ll set your personal target together once we’ve both seen real conversion data. You’ll know the number from day one.

Phase 2: You build your team. Once you hit your target, you hire and train your own agents and earn a commission on what they produce. A strong leader runs 8 to 10 agents.

We’re hiring 2 to 3 leaders at once, and you’ll be measured against each other.

How we measure success

Share of carts recovered, compared with what our emails already recover
Average order value on recovered carts
Subscription conversion on one-time carts
Refund and chargeback rate on your team’s orders
Order accuracy, appropriate offers, and clear documentation

How we sell

Be honest, verify every price, and let customers say no. A sale that gets refunded two weeks later is a loss for everyone, and it counts against your numbers. We’d rather lose a sale than make one we shouldn’t.

Who we’re looking for

You’ve built or led a phone or inside-sales team
You can write scripts that sound human, since our customers will hang up on anything corporate
Excellent spoken and written English, with a warm, unhurried manner
Comfortable being measured on hard numbers
Beauty, skincare, wellness, or subscription experience is a plus
Reliable computer, headset, internet, and backup power and connectivity
Available for US calling hours six days a week, including weekends

We don’t care about degrees, location, or past employers. We hire globally and pay for performance.

Pay

$1,000/month base, recoverable against your commission (capped at 50% of your monthly commission, so you never go backwards)
10% of total order value on every cart you personally recover, uncapped
4% override on your team’s total sales once you have a team, uncapped
Commission is paid 30 days after the order, provided it isn’t refunded or charged back

The base is a floor. A leader with 8 to 10 producing agents should earn several times it. If earning back the base from your own results sounds like a problem, we’re not a fit.

How to apply

Tell us about the last phone team you built or ran: its size, what it sold, and the numbers.
Roleplay out loud: a 71-year-old woman left a $105 subscription in her cart yesterday, and you’re calling her now.
Roleplay out loud: same call, but she says, “Oh, I decided it was too expensive.”
Tell us what you’d need from us in your first two weeks.

Speak the actual words in 2 and 3. If you only describe your approach, we’ll assume you can’t do it.
